Our Origins

Arc-fern emerged from a simple observation: adult language learners deserve better. Founded in 2016 by a group of applied linguists and experienced educators, we set out to create a learning environment that respects the intelligence and time constraints of professional adults.

Our founders had witnessed countless motivated learners become disillusioned with methods designed for children or academic contexts divorced from practical application. They believed that with the right approach, any adult could achieve meaningful fluency in a reasonable timeframe.

Today, we serve learners across the United Kingdom, offering both in-person instruction at our London facility and comprehensive online programmes accessible from anywhere.
